We were very well received and received by Pro Vert at the Jardins des orioles. Several small bites made with produce from the gardens were offered to us with an infusion of basil and honey.
This solidarity garden is located in Angrignon Park. We had a lovely guided tour of the greenhouse and garden. Our guide was none other than the head gardener.
This solidarity garden produces organic vegetables and fruits which are largely given to organizations that deal with food security in the southwest of Montreal. A great initiative!
We were able to discuss with some of our elected officials including Anne-Marie Siguoin, our district councilor. Some of the visitors were able to see the sales kiosk near the Angrignon metro station but for others, it was too late. 7 members of Marche santé! attended it.
